Charity Update September 2021

During this unprecedented period of the global pandemic, Covid-19, our charity’s work has been severely restricted. Our usual fundraising events of Depressed Cake Shops, cafes, dance events, quiz nights have all been cancelled or postponed.

Our Trustees have continued to meet online to discuss the impact on our charity’s financial situation and to offer help to our local community. With limited resources available it was important  for us to continue making donations. The following groups received funding :

  • Eastgate Open Door project
  • Chris’s House
  • Play Midlothian
  • Eastgate to fund psychotherapy sessions
  • Nomad Beat
  • Claire’s Safe Haven

Our lives may be have been on hold but mental health issues DO NOT take a break!

Many thanks for your support. Hope to see you all in person next year!

Stay Safe,

Freda Douglas (Trustee)
